CHAPTER-2 Child Of Universe

Back then, the Reincarnators were the only lifeforms on this plane.

Later, the Will of the Plane created the Ethnic Race, along with lending us the power to create a single race of our preference from our own blood.

Since my Eighth-Grade Syndrome was in full throttle, I exhausted a large portion of my blood to create a few dozen dragons similar to me.

They were supposed to be my army for the grand conquest. Now that I think of it, I might have been a little crazy to start a conquest in a barren world with nothing but molten lava, but who can blame me?

Before embarking on my grand conquest, I decided to take additional precautions by elevating my power to the next level.

My plan was to condense the Law of Chaos, whose existence I found out from the people I usally beat up.

Was it the strongest law? No. But was it cool-sounding? Definitely yes. That was all I needed at that time.

I had heard that one of our peers managed to obtain the Law of Chaos by combining multiple laws. Inspired by this, I spent the next 9000 years training in 2000 different laws, with the goal of mixing them all together to create the Law of Chaos in one full scoop.

But alas, that belief was my undoing. If simply mixing different laws was enough to acquire a law like Chaos, then all of the Primordials would have done it.

Instead, I ended up with the Law of Nihility, the extreme opposite of the law I was aiming for.

Looking back on it now, I never knew how I came to the conclusion that mixing all the 2000 laws will get me the Law of Chaos. I wanted to beat the hell out of my past self for deducing such a whimsical conclusion from his delusions.

Since the Law of Nihility was on par with the Law of Chaos, I was partially happy until...

I found out that I fully lost the ability to wield the other 2000 innate laws.

After condensing one law, Primordials are unable to condense a second law due to a restriction imposed by the Plane's will. This was set up to prevent them from disrupting the balance on the Plane. However, it does not stop us from manipulating the other laws to some extend.

But the Law of Nihility acts as a complete opposite of innate laws, actively repelling them.

Plunged into deeper levels of despair, I abandoned my grand plans for whatever conquest I had in mind and went into a deep sleep to wash away my sadness.

I don't know how, but by some miracle, I condensed the Law of Dreams during my millennium sleep.

Anyway, during this period I was always in a stupor, thus I missed many events, including the condition of the dragons after their creation.

Maybe I should take a peek at them after this meeting... that is if they are still alive. Naahhh... too much work, I should just ask Blackie about them when I return.

"You mean we should create higher planes for our respective clans?" Surs asked.

I figured out the names of all the Sovereigns from the ongoing discussions in the hall.

"That won't do, the higher planes should be attuned to the element the Primordial is specialized in, or else it would be no different from this plane," Ors said.

Creating planes?

Hold on a minute...

I peeked into the faces of others. What's with that 'we agree' expression?

Don't tell me... creating planes is common knowledge these days?

I feel so out of the loop.

I knew the others would keep on advancing even if I was in my slumber,

but this is on a different level... ghhh...

Should I ask?

No, the last thing I need now is the jeering. I should just ask Blackie or my clan members about it.

"Let's discuss this later. The current pressing matter is the upcoming birth of a Chosen," Ourous said.

The moment Ourous revealed this, the pin-drop silence of the hall got disturbed like a wave.

"It's just a plane's chosen. They aren't and never will be a threat."

"No, it's not about the threat. They always create a calamity in their wake. The last one killed a Deity of Light and disrupted the working of the law. Arhhgg... the post-disaster work was a disaster."

"Yes, we should just eliminate it before it becomes a pain, even if we have to suffer a slight backlash from the plane."

"I agree."

"Agreed."

In a way, I wanted to agree with their propositions too. After all, it's best to take care of things early if they are going to increase your workload in the future, but since it has nothing to do with me, I'm gonna ignore it.

"But this time that won't be happening," Ourous declared, upon which everyone quieted down.

"Reason?" Quidine asked.

"I never told you we are dealing with a Child of the Plane."

"If not the—" Quidine was interrupted.

"It can't be..."

I'm getting a bad vibe from this.

"Yes, it's a Child of the Universe."
